FxGate SDK enables the integration and management of FxLock Terminals in Access Control and T&A applications. FxGate SDK is based on the FxGate Architecture that allows to control one or more FxLock units through a TCP/IP network (Ethernet). A software component, called SGP, acts as a Server and runs on a single computer of the network. The SGP Server provides a simple and centralized interface for the control of all the FxLock units. The FxGate library provides all the functions needed to send commands and receive data from SGP Server, thus enabling a very effective control also for complex systems.

Scalable and configurable System

FxGate SDK allows the integration of the FxGate Architecture in third party access control and T&A applications. The high configurability and versatility makes FxGate the ideal solution for all physical-security applications (access control, T&A ecc).

Mutliple access modes

FxGate SDK supports all the access methods provided by FxLock: fingerprint, chip card (contact or contactless), password, fingerprint on chip card (contact or contactless).

Maximum Privacy protection

Each module of the FxGate system (FxLock, SGP Server, FxGate library) has two asymmetric keys (public and private). Thanks to this keys and a “state of the art” cryptographic algorithm, all data transmitted over the net is encrypted. Mutual authentication is also performed for each system component. This ensures a strong protection of all personal and biometric information in transit.

Relays management and Access Rights

FxGate SDK enables the configuration of relays connected to the FxLock terminals and the management of all user’s rights about the operations that they can do after being recognized.

Time profiles and motives

Up to 100 different time profiles can be configured for T&A applications. Each time profile specifies when a user is allowed to gain access or not. It is also possible to configure different motives for a more specific classification of entry and exit records.

Remote enrollment of users

FxGate supports fingerprint enrollment directly from the FxLock unit (i.e., remote acquisition of user’s fingerprints).

Accesses Record Management

FxGate enables to simply retrieve the access records within the entire system. Therefore the developer is not required to query each single terminal of the system to obtain the records of previous accesses

Simple programming interface

FxGate SDK provides a simple interface for all system functionalities. The simplicity of this interface enables a rapid integration avoiding all problem concerning synchronization and data integrity.
